Acing The Tennis Lifestyle
With a total of 13 Har-tru courts spread throughout the community, St. James serves up a tennis lover’s paradise. While all courts have crisp greens, underground irrigation, and lights for night play, the true heart of tennis at St. James lives at the Founders Club.
Pickleball Anyone?
If you haven’t seen the game in action, pickleball is making quite the “racquet” here at St. James. This quick-moving, high intensity sport has gained popularity. The newest facility has its own private area and bathroom facility, enhancing your space to prepare or wind down from the game.

Tennis
The Clubs at St James Plantation currently have 13 Har-Tru (clay) tennis courts. All courts have underground irrigation, and have lights for night play. Six courts are located at The Founders Tennis Complex, two at The Members Athletic Center, two are located in the Regency area of the Players Club and three located at The SeaSide Complex.
The programs and facilities at The Clubs at St. James Plantation provide tennis players, of all ages and abilities, the opportunity to participate in a competitive and/or recreational sports activity. The Tennis Shop offers a complete line of tennis clothing, equipment and accessories, as well as racquet stringing and ball machine rental. Individual lessons are available and group clinics are held on a scheduled basis.
Our Tennis Association Is An Active Member Of The USTA.
