Lisa brings firsthand relocation experience to real estate, having completed eight corporate moves across the U.S. with her husband, Ken, and their four children. This background gives her a deep first-hand understanding of the complexities and emotions that come with buying and selling your home.
A professional real estate broker for the past five years, Lisa specializes in St James, Southport, Oak Island, and the greater Wilmington area. Her background as a Registered Nurse, Certified Professional Coder, and Director of Quality Care shaped her strong attention to detail and calm, thoughtful approach, qualities her clients value throughout every step of the process.
Lisa began vacationing in St. James in 2003 and always knew it would one day be home. Today, she feels fortunate to help others achieve their real estate goals in St. James and throughout Southeast North Carolina.
Outside of real estate , Lisa enjoys traveling to visit her children and grandchildren. She and her husband are active members of the clubs and truly enjoy the spectacular sunsets at the St James Beach Club. She is committed to her community and has volunteered her time mentoring with Samara’s Village, hosting marines from Camp Lejeune every Thanksgiving and supporting St. James Communities Operation at Ease program.

My wife and I have been working with Lisa since February of this year and have really enjoyed her communications and collaboration. What started as a by-chance meeting at a restaurant on Valentine's Day, has grown into a nice friendship and professional relationship as our realtor. We are/were pursuing a home or land to build on the east coast and Oak Island was one of our target destinations. There was no guarantee of Oak Island being our final selection, but Lisa worked with the 2 of us as if we were definitely going to be settling in there. We were pursuing other destinations but her interest in our needs was the same I would expect from a dedicated realtor for a targeted location. We live out of state and she has bent over backwards to help us review properties, houses, land, etc which ultimately led to our decision to buy a piece of land on the Island. While this was a candidate location, she walked the property while doing a facetime video chat so we could get the "look and feel" of the place, all while being remote. The closing was virtual, seamless, and without issues and I attribute all that due to her frequent communications and knowledge of the process. She has taken this a step further to recommend a highly respected, yet boutique-like builder and we are working through that process now. She is our "boots on the ground" to help with anything local, meet in person for the build, and any other onsite needs we may have. Lisa has been absolutely wonderful, and I would highly recommend her to any prospective buyers in the nearby Oak Island area.

Lisa is a true professional. We had been looking to purchase a lot or house in St James for about a year, waiting until the insane market calmed down. When the house we purchased hit the market, we called Lisa since she came highly recommended by my cousin.
