Jennifer Ronan understands that relocating is about much more than finding the right house—it’s about finding the right community, lifestyle, and place to call home.
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Jennifer moved to Connecticut in 2002. After discovering St. James during a visit to the Southport area in 2011, she and her husband Kevin fell in love with the coastal lifestyle, friendly community, and abundance of amenities. In 2021, they made the move to St. James and have never looked back.
Having personally experienced the excitement, challenges, and countless decisions involved in relocating, Jennifer understands the questions buyers often have about neighborhoods, amenities, healthcare, taxes, recreation, and what everyday life is really like in a new area. Today, she specializes in helping buyers explore St. James, Southport, Oak Island, and the surrounding Coastal North Carolina area. Her goal is to help clients determine whether the area is the right fit for their next chapter and then find the home that best supports their lifestyle and future plans.
Before beginning her real estate career, Jennifer held leadership positions in the insurance industry across Ireland, Bermuda, and the United States. She brings that same professional experience to real estate, combining strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and results.
Known for her responsiveness and genuine care for her clients, Jennifer takes pride in building lasting relationships and making the buying or selling process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

We visited the Southport area for the 1st time in late Spring 2024, and decided to check out St James Plantation last minute before returning home. Even though it was late afternoon just prior to long holiday weekend, Jennifer spent several hours with us as she provided a comprehensive and excellent tour of the community, clubhouses, amenities, and available properties. Her friendly and professional demeanor, coupled with in-depth knowledge was very helpful and her willingness to answer all of our questions was much appreciated. We knew instantly that St James was where we wanted to be permanently. Jennifer provided us with a reputable selling agent as we initiated the sale of another property up the coast. Jennifer was patient with our situation and flexible as we returned back to Southport in late Summer ready to visit available homes in our price range, ultimately landing in our dream home late fall.
