Dan is a real estate professional with over 30 years of successful sales and management expertise. His journey in the industry has been notable, marked by rich experiences that have shaped his approach to real estate. Dan’s dedication to his craft is evident in every transaction and interaction.
His educational background was laid at Duke University, where he earned a Master of Business Administration gaining valuable knowledge and honing his skills in preparation for the dynamic world of real estate.
Dan’s career began at Governors Club in Chapel Hill, NC, where he offered valuable marketing and sales leadership. His impact was felt throughout North Carolina, as he worked for some of the top real estate developers before joining St. James in 1998.
During his first stint at St. James, Dan produced results and became Vice President of Sales, steering the flagship community to unprecedented heights of success. His leadership was characterized by 10 consecutive years of record-breaking performances, a testament to his strategic vision and unwavering commitment to St. James.
Most recently Dan was in new home sales and construction with a top-10 builder.
For Dan, real estate is not just about transactions or sales figures; it’s about cultivating relationships with customers and sales teams alike. At his core is a commitment to fostering trust and going beyond expectations, principles that have garnered him a dedicated following. Holiday cards still received from many of his past clients serve as a testament to the lasting impact he has made on their lives.
Beyond real estate, Dan’s passions extend to the competitive arena of cycling. A familiar face on the Southeastern racing circuit, he has podiumed in several State Championships and proudly completed the National Championships in Louisville, KY. Even today, Dan remains dedicated to his training regimen, welcoming friendly waves from drivers and fellow cyclists on the road.
Outside of work and cycling, Dan finds fulfillment in his roles as a children’s teaching leader at his church and as an active volunteer in various organizations. However, his greatest joy stems from spending time with his wife and three grown children, whether casting lines into the water while fishing or simply enjoying the sight of passing boats at the Marina. For Dan, life is an opportunity to embrace adventure, foster connections, and make a meaningful impact.
