From August 17, 2024 forward, NAR Agents are required to enter into a written agreement with a potential Buyer prior to touring a home.

No offers of compensation to a Buyer’s Broker or Buyer can be entered into the MLS. However, Brokerages can advertise Buyer Broker compensation on their websites, social media, and print ads.

If there is no Buyer Broker compensation being offered by the Seller, Buyer can instruct Buyer’s Agent to include this compensation in the Offer to Purchase.
