Tennis & Pickleball
The Clubs at St James Plantation currently have 13 Har-Tru (clay) tennis courts. All courts have underground irrigation and have lights for night play. Six courts are located at The Founders Tennis Complex, two at The Members Athletic Center, two are located in the Regency area of the Players Club, and three located at The SeaSide Complex.
The programs and facilities at The Clubs at St. James Plantation provide tennis players, of all ages and abilities, the opportunity to participate in a competitive and/or recreational sports activity.
Pickleball Anyone?
If you haven’t seen the game in action, pickleball is making quite the “racquet” here at St. James. This quick-moving, high-intensity sport has gained popularity.
The Clubs currently has two pickleball courts that are located at The SeaSide Club and have just recently opened the Greg Rymer Memorial Courts which offers eight new courts, located at Plantation Services.
Our Tennis Association Is An Active Member Of The USTA.

The SeaSide Club: 3 Har-Tru courts with tournament seating
Because we have so many great tennis centers, there’s always court time during the day. You’ll get a first-class experience from the facilities to tournaments to lessons to gear.
The Tennis Shop offers a complete line of tennis clothing, equipment, and accessories, as well as racquet stringing and ball machine rental. Individual lessons are available and group clinics are held on a scheduled basis.
